When I founded Bellaclan 14 years ago, little did I know where my love and admiration for this breed would take me. This has meant a lot of hard work, sacrifice and commitment. The results have been worth it, a successful line up of dogs, true to the Border Collie Standard. Over the years I've known so many extrordinary dogs, and amazing people both in our home country Canada, and abroad! I am so happy and proud to share some of these memories with you here! NEW CHAMPION!!!Farrah is now CANADIAN CHAMPION, CH Companions Starstruck V Bellaclan, she finished today with a major win under Geraldine Taylor, finishing with 3 major wins. Thank you Linda for having Farrah stay at your house and for showing her for me! I cannot thank you enough for having her in your homes for the last 6 months and treating her as your own!!! Bless you, friends like you do not come around every day :) XX Farrah is the FIRST SABLE BORDER COLLIE to get a CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE in CANADA!!! :)  NEW PUPPIES!  New Addition & Puppies due February 18, 2012!!!!I am SOOOO pleased to welcome our newest addition "DAZZLE" who comes to us all the way from the UK!!! My deepest thanks goes to her breeder Natalie for being willing to come along with Dazzle to bring her here in a last minute whirlwind trip so she would not have to come here all alone!! Dazzle is an amazing producer producing a CC winner in the UK, the most competitive show ring in the world, easily! Dazzle is more then I could have ever dreamed with the sweetest temperement and very sound structure. To top that off Dazzle was bred to 'Viggo" Locheil Black Russian at Bryning before she came here and their pups are due February 18, 2012! See more info. below!  SOME SHOW UPDATES!Although we didn't bring home any championship points this time we had a ton of fun at the Land O' Lakes Kennel Club show and the Northstar Herding Club show in the USA. The girls won first in their classes with June going RWB to a 5pt major! I had a great time catching up with the other Border Collie people as well as meeting new ones! I still remember my then bf having to leave town and having his Labrador Retrieve over, she seemed to know what was going on and actually behaved herself. She later was like a sister to Jackson! I remember calling my sister and her bf over to be there just in case I had to leave for the vets with Maddie. I remember Dexter who was born first at 15.5 oz, 0.5 of an OZ short of 1 lb and then calling Deanne at 12:00 AM to tell her how huge the first puppy was, and that it should be "smooth sailing from here", then Jackson was born an hour later at 1.5 lbs...the size of a newf puppy, so much for smooth sailing, sorry Maddie! From the get go I spoiled these two boys ROTTEN, we called them "the twins", even though they were easily recognizable. I planned to only keep a girl, that was until Jackon insisted that he stay. That was only the first of many battles that he would win, it seems he gets his way all the time. LOL Here is a look back! Jackson (left) and Dexter (right) only hours old!

Farrah did it again, but this time not only did she go Winners Bitch, she went Best Of Winners too, and naked!!! Thank you Linda and her handler Laurie!! You guys are amazing! :) Farrah now only needs 2 singles to finish. This will make her the first and only Sable to finish in Canada! :)  Major win for Viva!!VIVA- UKC CH Bellaclan Queen Of Hearts
As if I am not spoiled enough with Farrahs major win today and Nova's last weekend!!! A HUGE congratulations to JoyceAnn Baker and her lovely Grand Daughter Hunter (who I know does an amazing job handling Viva) on Viva's 4 pt major win today in Oklahoma!! :) I am so proud of you!! Miss Viva now only needs 4 singles to finish!

  Star's Debut!"Star" Bellaclan Sunset Symphony (Parker X Ava daughter) Star made her debut today going first from the 6-9 month puppy class. Star is a splitting image of her sire and I am so looking forward to following her show career in the USA. She is owned by Ambre Smith in California!  Happy Holllooowwweeennnnn!!! :)Ambre Smith and her BC gang never fail to send me the best pictures of her crew!! :)

Lilu in Poland saw sheep for the first time!! Her owners comments: "Today I was with Lilu on training of herding. Already at the first meeting, she began working beautifully. At the end of the second session began balancing."

Vallen- NEW CANADIAN CHAMPION Can CH Bellaclan Midnight Magic  Points for Nova!!Congrats Ambre Smith and Nova for going WD/BOW/BOB today for 2 points. Nova has taken his time maturing which is typical of his line! Hopefully he will now zoom to his CH easily! We are so proud of you two!!
NOVA- Bellaclan Casanova's Magic HIC NA NAJ   NEW AM CHAMPIONSHIP FOR CASH!!!It was an honour to be asked by the Shooks to handle Cash at the 2011 BCSA National and Regional Specialties! Cash and I went WD at the Regionals which finished his American Championship in grand style!!! :) CASH- NEW AM CH, CH Bellaclan Red Hot Highroller HIC    AMERICAN NATIONALS and REGIONALS!Although June did not win the remaining 3 needed points for her Am CH she held her own at the BCSA Specialty by winning 2nd in a VERY STRONG Open bitch class at the Nationals and Regionals, quite the feat for a completely naked blue bitch! :)
JUNE- Powerhouse's Make Em Want More Bellaclan HIC HCT  Also as noted below, Cash went 1st from the 12-18 mos class at the sweeps, the nationals and next day at the regionals where not only did he win the class but went on to WD to finish!!! He also won his HIT nationals weekend as well! Also congrats my my friend and a fellow Canadian breeder who`s dog, Briarelanes Force Of Nature went Best in Match, and RWD, and her bitch Kyla for her veterans win! GO CANADA!! ;) HIC title for Cash!Congrats to Rachael and Justin Shook for Cash's new HIC title at the 2011 BCSA National Specialty, Cash was one of only 12 dogs who passed their HIC!
