Felicity arrived in 2004 from Dr Darby Lewes of Folly Hill's Border Collies in Pensdale, PA.  Thank you Darby, from the botton of my heart, for entrusting me with this special girl who filled my craving to have a Border Collie to show...well kind of! ;)  I had shown dogs for years in conformation and obedience, and had always had Border Collies, but at the time I could not show them in Canada.  Felicity was supposed to be a show dog, except she hated the ring, and  so we just moved onto obedience where she filled all my expectations and more.  Felicity does every move with such zest, a trait which I will always strive to preserve in this breed, she taught me what a Border Collie should be!  Extremly smart, very drivey and structurally sound and correct!

Felicity has many quirkey funny traits which she tends to pass on to her children.  She talks and complains when I have been gone too long, her daughter Vallen complains when she is not comfortable!  Felicity snaps the air if she is in the car looking out the window and either a big truck or a white vehicle go by, she will not do it for every car, her son Nova does this for over head signs.  Felicity also "rolls to the music"  if you blast any kind of fast rap music she lays on her back rolling and kicking her feet in the air to the music.

As a producer she has produced a ton of drive in her pups.  Her pups are brilliantly fast learners, and super agility and obedience dogs.  Like her, they are not bad on the eye either!

I was able to talk her into the ring once, she walked away with WB/BOS, a major, over a group placing special.  She is built beautifully with lovely rear angles, the nicest croup I have ever seen, and lovely movement.  Maybe one day in her old age, when she settles down, I can talk her back into the ring...but really, who am I kidding!?  She has a permanent place on my bed for life in the meantime!
